![]() ![]() There are several other utilities I have to track down which seem new - intel local management service, proset monitoring service, integrated clock controller service, dynamic application loader host interface, rapid storage technology (that was there earlier) - but asking about them would belong in a non-OC reddit, I expect. Also, if you want to clock it higher and need more voltage, you need to go + on the offset. You can try -.005 and see if its stable and then keep going down until it is not. I've searched google but the answers I've found are either the generic useless websites that auto fill "go to control panel" nonsense or very technical discussions of managing it while undervolting. If you want it to downvolt you need to leave it on auto and use the offset. I don't like the idea of my PC clock being mucked around with beyond what I set it up for, and the ASUS utilities left a lot of junk around when I was uninstalling them (realtek drivers, for example, when I switched to a soundcard). I understand that people might use it for undervolting, though I don't know much about that otherwise. ![]() I don't remember seeing it running until I installed some ASUS ROG motherboard utilities (AI Suite 3, I think) that I immediately wanted to remove to preserve my current overclock (i7 6700k at 4.5GHz). What is XTU Service, why do I have it and where did it come from? Do I need it? Is it likely to be affecting my overclock? Can I get rid of it given that my OC is in the BIOS and not done via Windows? I missed the uninstall hiding right at the bottom of Programs & Features list. EDIT: Sorry for the stupidity, good people. ![]()
